Hi All: First, thanks to webmaster for a great site! I've been a thrifter for 37 years and still enjoy the hunt for a bargain! Question: why no online sales by thrift chains (except Goodwill) and local stores (except a few on eBay). Although that requires work for photos and listings, seems like it would be worth the cost by expanding their markets, particularly for high-end and collectible items. Thrifts need to price those items anyway for in-person stores. Are any thrifts going online soon?

Hello newbie, welcome. I could have written your post!! I'm a die hard thrift store junkie myself.

What timing your post is.  We (owner of www.TheThriftShopper.com) and myself have launched an amazing site that does just that.

Introducing www.ThriftShopOrama.com.

We've built this site to allow ALL thrift shops in the country to sell online. It is for thrift shops ONLY and no other every day sellers like those other fancy online sites. That's a big plus!

We've got a few sellers already and plan to have many more. This is a great opportunity for thrift shops to take advantage of the online marketplace and get much higher dollar for their donated goods.  Check it out!

Any questions feel free to contact me at brigitte@thriftshoporama.com -

There will indeed be links to the latest items uploaded by thrift stores on all pages of TheThriftShopper.Com, but I'm just waiting for 100 items to be listed.
