That Mother Nature... Doesn't she know it's almost SPRING now? And that inches of snow on a Saturday prevent some of us from going out to enjoy the wonder that is thrifting?? Honestly, the lack of consideration!

Okay, okay, yes, it could be floods. Or famine. Or landslides...

Because we know she likes to throw her weight around a little.

But still. I miss seeing the outdoors and interacting a little with people NOT on a computer screen (no offense, gang, you know I do appreciate you...).

Anyone else about sick to death of the white stuff?

MN has been screwing with my entire winter of shopping - kids have had one or two days off each week since dec. 1 due to snow - lots to make up!   and I've barely been to a thrift!
Did stop by goodwill sunday for a minute - all coats, sweaters and fleece 50% off so got a couple of great Ann Taylor sweaters for $2 each.

TSR - I really like the new photo...but what's with this "World-Wide Merovingian Dominatrix of Thrift" title with which you have been bestowed?

White Stuff?  You mean Marshmallow Fluff?  I haven't had that since I was a kid...

See you next time
bye for now.

I Love Fluff.  Its hard to find real Fluff here in the south, often I've had to settle for "Marshmallow Creme".  I've tried to stay away from all of it lately as I've been eating healthier and I've been trying to avoid anything and everything containing corn syurp.

Heh, BDA, you had me worried for a minute that my profile had been hacked. Smiley

I'm just helping out with forum moderation (Whack-a-Spam, really). Like titles tend to, it's all a lot more impressive sounding than it is. Smiley

Yes, the weather has definitely been affecting my thrifting.  It's been quite depressing.

However, last weekend I actually had a wonderful weekend "de-thrifting" mainly clothes and books. I ended up with two huge boxes which I finally go to the humane society thrift yesterday.  Felt good because I had some really nice clothes to donate and I can actually find things in my dressers and closet now!  Yeah!

De-thrifting DOES feel good. Power to ya! I need to do a bit of de-thrifting myself.
