Wow, TSR, you did hit the jackpot...especially since it was one day after Pearl Harbor Day! I am so totally impressed. I would love to find a pillow covering like that. My late Dad and two of late my uncles of the "Greatest Generation" all proudly served in the "Big One", WWII.

Yeah, I know I could buy one on eBay or an antique store. But to find one, unexpectedly (and in such historical content Smiley) ahhh, now that is serendipity

I like being different.  I don't want to have the same stuff everyone has.  Thrifting gives me an individuality that most people don't have.  I love searching for just the thing that calls to me.  Then I know I need it. 

Funny thing is most of my Christmas gifts to my parents and siblings are awesome thrift store finds.  I know I would love to get them, must be why I picked them up.    Grin
