I just found these items at my GW and fell in love with them.
The first thing is a wind up doll that plays "You Are My Sunshine" while moving her head side to side. The only identifiable label on the doll is on her bottom, which has a gold sticker that says "UC cTi japan."
I've already tried searching the internet and was thinking it might be an earlier version of the Green Tree Dolls? But I have no clue or even what decade.

Secondly, is this brass owl that is very heavy. I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas what era this was created?

I appreciate everyone's input. Thanks! Angry

There is a doll collectors' site - http://www.dollinfo.com that might be able to tell you info on little miss sunshine - and I love the owl, but have no idea how to type it.  My best guess is late '50s, early 60's?

Thanks! I just got recently got addicted to thrift shopping. Originally I was planning on using the owl to decorate a relative's room but the more I look at it, the more I want it and just got curious to what it originally was! LOL

I don't know anything about the doll but the owl is a GREAT find.

I would put it in the 60's/early 70's. Retro looking owls are VERY collectible/sought after now.  Especially large pendants like that one.

GREAT job!

THanks!

I wish it were a pendant, but it's too heavy to be one. I think it was a decor piece or something. Thanks for the decade!
