Was able to score some vinyl today - must have been an aging hippie clearing out his record collection.

Chicago Transit Authority
Aretha Franklin: Soul '69
Iron Butterfly - Heavy
Petula Clark's Greatest Hits
Huey Lewis & The News (self-titled - sealed)
Eric Burdon & The Animals - Eric Has Arived
A Dave Clark Five album
a 78 of Bach's Sheep may safely graze
Kraftwerk - Autobahn
Joe Walsh - So What

and a couple of others - too lazy to go down to confirm.  Some were second copies but most were new acquisitions.  It was a good haul.

Saw some good Glam Rock Records at a goodwill but $3.99 each was a bit too much for me.

My boyfriend commented on that the other day. He really only looks at the games for the WII & the Xbox360 I won for him when I drag him to the thrifts & he said... "they almost always sports ones."

That's ridiculous.  You could go to a legitimate record store, where the vinyl is checked, graded, and maybe even cleaned and pay less than that.

I like your videos, by the way.  They are entertaining (and I mean that in a good way).

Here, they're ALWAYS always sports ones. Can I tell you how many PS1  Coolboarders discs I see every time I visit a store? They're like that First Family album there's always 50 copies of. That and any Madden game are all I see. And those Madden games are just about always for Playstation 2. Hallelujah for Play N Trade.

Syphic -

I think of you every time I hit a Goodwill around here.  They usually have a bunch of games, game decks, and controllers (I don't know much about it - this stuff could all be very common and you see it too, and just don't buy it).

It could be worth your while to make a trip to the Phoenix area.

FWIW
