I mentioned a while back I was psyched to find a used Belkin router at a church sale for 2 bucks.  When I went to set it up I realized it was missing the networking cable.  I saw a generic brand one online yesterday ordered it for 3.15 including shipping which I thought was the cheapest I would find.

Wouldn't you know today I went to the food bank thrift & saw a brand new in the package gold series Belkin Cat6 cable for 50 cents!  I was so mad I ordered the other one even though I only wasted 3 bucks.  But what are the chances of that?  I guess you really never know what you will find at a thrift.

I did realize when I took the router out of the box there was a second older model Belkin router in there as well so I guess the generic cable can go for that one, although I don't need a second router.

I've been seeing large med containers where you arrange for a week at a time. They are HUGE! I had asked my docs for a long time where I could get one. No luck! I mentioned it at an appointment and then went home with determination to find one online. I did; on eBay. (I take a lot of pills and supplements.)

I get all my medical care and supplies free.

So a package arrives . . . I open it. The eBay sale was for 3 containers. There were only two. What! I picked up the package. It was from the doc. She had sent me two. Now I have 5. LOL! I don't know anyone who takes as many supplements and medications as I do. I guess I have a lifetime supply.

I get lectured all the time to check for the "extras" - cords and plugs and power sources - before I buy anything  but some deals are too good to pass up.

And I also get lectured about bringing in extra accessories I think may be useful in the future. The price was right - if I can't use it someone else will need it.
Not that anyone ever asks me for such things,  but I am prepared!
