I found this early Gladding McBean El Patio carafe and tumbler set at the Sal Army for 7 bucks yesterday.  I never saw these pieces before and didn't recognize the GMBC mark at first either, but I knew I had to have them.

I've never heard of them, but if I saw that set for $7, I would have been compelled to take it home.

I used to have a few of those carafes, which I was forced to sell during the Great Personal Financial Disaster of 2002.

Still miss 'em.

Those are super cute!  I would have grabbed those too, just because of the handle on the pot and the colors.  Very good score!
