Californai Sweep - Foothills

I went to California with my daughter and a buddy of mine to drop her off at school.

On Sunday, on our way back, we hit a few Goodwills.  He likes the L.A. area stores better than the AZ stores - He calls them cleaners and better displayed.  He has a point with the ones we hit.

We wound up with a Pioneer Receiver (a VSX-605S - a black box - no big deal, but it works) for $15.00 and  a top-of-the-line JVC dual well tape deck TD-W999 for $10.00.  I also scored 2 albums - a Windham Hill which I didn't have, and an Arthur Lyman record which I didn't have.  Both were $2.00, but they were in excellent shape.

There were some other records, but I just didn't pull the trigger on them.

There was NO PYREX whatsoever in any of the stores we hit (which was about 5).  That's what he was looking for.  Brandon got skunked, but it was a good trip.
