I appreciate any and all insight and information that I have obtained on here, being a newbie, I haven't offered up much info, yet.  My buddy at work was given this and told he better hang on to it and we are trying to figure out what the heck it is...(i think he's cursed for hanging on to it)  any info is appreciated...

I think that white square with a red X in the middle is an original Andy Warhol most likely worth a fortune. Consider yourself quite lucky.
