Here's the interview I did with Karen Keane an appraiser that travels with Antiques Roadshow.

Fun, fun, fun!  That appraiser seems nice, I kind of vaguely remember her from the shows.  My favorite AR guy is the jewelry appraiser from New York, his dad is a jewelry appraiser on the show too, his New York accent is awesome- get an interview with him please, haha.  Did you go to the show taping?  See anything good?  Were the Keno bros there?  They are kinda hyper, I liked their show Find on PBS they acted like they were on speed on that show sometimes.

Yes VTS we did go to the taping. I have audio interviews of that. I know the jewelry guys of which you speak, yes they're great.
The last time we went to the Roadshow we did interview Leigh Keno and he was awesome.
As a matter of fact, I was speaking with Gary Somhers at the taping on Saturday. I re-introduced myself to him as we'd met 3 years prior and when I handed him my card he said that he'd used TheThriftShopper.Com to find thrift stores in Miami the day before. He mentioned that he'd bought the shirt he was wearing at a thrift store right then. I must say I was thrilled!
Once I get all those interviews sorted out I'll post them.

Ciao,

GB

Wow that is quite a compliment!  That guy looks like he shops at thrfit stores, he is always wearing some kitchy Hawaiian shirt or similar.  I wonder if the American Pickers guys stop at thrift shops when they are traveling around.  You should email them a link to your website.
