I spend a lot of time in used cd stores, so I guess I've trained me eye to work well with the smaller type on the thin side of the jewel cases. I also note record labels; some will be wht I'm looking for and other labels will not get a second glance.
My pet peeve about cds is that most stores don't separate music cds from computer discs and most do not thrown out the homemade-burned cds. But it is always a fun hunt.
Someday I think I'll do some ebay selling. Your friends story is very interesting. I just don't know if I would have the patience to part items out like that.
Keep on thrifting!
Have you ever been to Tom's Music Trade in York?
I have never been there, but they seem to have a lot of old records and music memorabilia.
