Paul, hows your "Christmas Village" looking these days? Is it ready to go live? What did you name the village and the railway going by it?

The benchwork is done for the railroad.



There will be a platform in the corner closest to the camera, and that little 3rd level will have a radio station building on it.



and the main RR layout is pretty much set.  I did some soldering on the power feed lines, so I have to power drop-ins for the main table layout.  I'm in the process of building stanchions for the second level oval and have to buy two more 30" straights for that oval.  Maybe today.

I found an old 2000 Chevy Venture minivan toy at a Goodwill, so I picked it up and transformed it into a replica of our minivan...







so that's done.  Got my flashers for my grade crossing, so most of the pieces are in place - just a few more parts to get.

I have both the trains that I'll be running, so those are all set.
