Sarasota Thrift Stores

I recently spent some time in Sarasota and the absolute best thrift store there was the Salvation Army Store on 17th Street, IMHO.  There was a large selection of items, prices were very reasonable, most of the clothing and shoes, etc. were top name brands, in very good condition.  

Every week starting on Monday, they have a colored tag sale for 1/2 off all week and on Wednesday they have 1/2 off of everything all day.  


The other great store was the Pines of Sarasota on Orange St.  It also had great prices but not as large of a selection, smaller store.  But it was well worth the visit.
