Attention ALL Central Floridians.

Lutheran Haven is having their Bi-Annual Flea Market (Rummage Sale) on Saturday October 25th from 8:00am until 2:30pm. All proceeds go to their nursing home and assisted living facilities.
Everyone within 100 miles should go to this great event. Cookie and I went last year and it was the BEST Rummage Sale we've yet been to.

See the map link below to find exactly where it is.
http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?address=1530+Haven+Dr.&City=Oviedo&zipcode=32765&cid=lfmaplink

This sale is Huge! They have 4 covered parking areas full of stuff, all high quality as well as a monster meeting hall that is full of the smaller knick knacks and clothing.

Here's Morning Cookie ready to make a killing, which we did.

One of the covered parking areas..

Cookie's waaaaay with child (due in 5 weeks) so we won't be able to attend, but please let us know how it is....

Sooooooo many things....

Books, records, a set of 4 glasses that we love. Cookie got some baking pans that we use all the time. It's a goldmine!

Mebbe next year. We are still slogging through the dreaded never-ending house remodel. I only have so much energy to do so much so far away from my house.  Here's how it goes:  This sale starts at 8 AM and is about 1.5-2 hours from my home, which means that to get there when it REALLY starts (6 AM) I'd have to camp out in the parking lot or leave at 3 AM. At least at Rennigers I can stumble in at 11 or 12 and there will still be good stuff for me to perhaps buy. Plus, I'm looking for furniture, and Rennigers has plenty of that! But thanks for the info. Smiley

Oooo, let us know how she does, Jay!

I told her to give me a call if whe had any questions about anything.  Her specific instructions are to look for Pyrex, telephones, barware, and all around cool 50's stuff.

Troy McClure went and I thing Thrift Sally too.
We in turn did go to a microscopic church sale where everything was a quarter. We didn't see anything that was worth purchasing.
Then we went to a neighborhood yard sale where 10 or so out or 50 homes have things to sell. The best thing that we got out of going to those 10 sales was the fact that I found a ping pong ball for the cats to play with.
