We are having quite a discussion about how to price at my thrift store.  I want to price at 1/4 to 1/3 of retail.  Others are at 1/2 of retail to almost retail pricing!  Clothing we have  pretty set figure based on type of clothing; but the housewares and misc. is the hardest to price.  Ideas??

I've found that if you do some research and also keep in mind what you would pay for the item used, usually works pretty good. Myself I go with the 1/3 of new price unless the item is new, than you have to use your own discretion. I've already had things come in that I personally thought were junk only to find out that it was some kind of collectible that was worth more on Amazon or E-Bay. Hope this helps Al
