While operating a thrift shop, it's important to cultivate good relations with local press.
When newspapers write about a "Thrift Store Opening" they hardly ever write the most relevant info. That being your address phone number and shopping and donation hours.
If Cookie or myself look up thrift info online and find an article on a new thrift shop, they never have all the above info.
So basically when you do put out any press releases about your store's activities make sure they include that basic info.

Store name and charity you benefit
Store address, including zip code
Store phone number, including area code
Shopping and donation hours.

This will insure that everyone interested in shopping or donation can find you or contact you if need be.
