Having a sign that brings customers in off the street is the best way to let shoppers know what you are.
There's a local thrift to us and they had a sign on the street that said "ReThreads Resale".
What kind of store is it? Is it a thrift store, a consignment shop, a used clothing store?
You won't know until you actually go inside and ask somebody.
A few months ago they replaced the sign on the road with "Thrift Store", now every person driving by knows what kind of store it is.
I understand that there are managers, and owners and committees that hate the word "Thirft". "It sound's too cheap.", or "We only sell really nice upscale items." These folks name their shops, ReStore and Resale and everything else but thrift..
You can call your shop whatever you like, but on the street, whatever sign customers can see most clearly form the road, the sign should read Thrift Store (or Shop).
People that go thrift shopping can spot the word thrift from a million miles away. Because that's the word they are looking for. You know thrift shoppers. You know that we are nuts about thrifting, not resaling........

Good Luck!
