Thrift shopping has a stigma to it that thrift shops are dirty places where the homeless hang out. (I know this not to be true, but this is the most popular negative notion of thrifts)
Many thrift shops don't even use the word "thrift" in their name because of just that fact.
It's VERY important to keep a clean store. The cleaner the store is, the better the clientèle will be. A better clientèle has more money to spend to ultimately support your charity.
I know very well it's hard to find good help but keeping a neat clean store is better for everyone.
