First, this Goodwill is in Pompton Plains, NJ, not Pequannock, NY. (Pompton Plains is next to Pequannock, NJ.) Selection and quality is very good. I entirely disagree that this store is overpriced -- I bought a Nautica sweater here for $3.99 and a pair of Dockers pants for $4.99. Both look like they're brand new. Picked up a piece of electronics I was interested in on one occasion, the bottom was covered in roach feces. I don't expect the cleanest stuff at a thrift shop, but that was exceptionally gross. For years I thought the proceeds from my local thrift shop (this one) were going to needy families in town. Now I've found out proceeds are donated to various national organizations, which annoyed me as I believe in supporting my own community. As a handicapped person I was dismayed to find their Vintage Items Department was located on a second-floor level.
