Do all RI Salvation Army stores smell like dirty feet and unwashed clothing? So far that's our experience. While this one wasn't as bad as the store in Newport, it still smelled and merchandise and shelves were dusty and grimy. Selection and pricing are good. Customer service was better than Newport. RI SA stores need to take a lesson from FL SA stores. At least dust from time to time and try to get rid of the odors. (Read More)

Friendly humorous staff. Pricing is a little odd. (Two of the exact same vases were priced differently.) Selection was limited in some areas but this may be due to RI's recent bad weather. It's obvious the staff takes pride in their store. Everything was very well organized and very neat and clean. It's also obvious they love what they do and pass it on to their customers. There is new personnel running the shop, terrible customer service and if I did not know better I will say they are pricing to put money in their pockets and donating little back to The church, very disappointing what is happening there.
