This is a great "FIND" store. The women working are extremely pleasant and its like shopping in your own home. While it is small, it is incredibly priced and everything has that touch of "love" upon it. All items are in good condition and the place is clean clean clean! I like to take my children there to find $0.50 or $1 items or books. It is a hit or miss and certainly too small if your looking for something specific. However, it delights the soul to be in this place. I never know what the Lord will have for me, if anything, when I go and if I leave with nothing it is still an amazing shopping experience! Employees were helpful and pleasant. The only thing I didn't like is that one of the higher priced coats had the price marked on the maker's label. This makes it absolutely unusable for resale. It's a gorgeous cashmere coat but I can't resell it with $25.00 written right at the neckline on the tag. Employees were like, "Well, that's the way it is!" Like it or not, your biggest customers are probably people who resell on eBay or other online sites. I appreciate cleanliness, friendliness and time to browse without being bothered by inquiries. I will never shop here again, and it takes a lot for me to write off an entire thrift shop. I would strongly caution anyone to provide business for this store. In my line of work, I am trained to identify employee abuse. I identified verbal abuse from two female managers while I was shopping in the housewares department. I caught the name of one, Debbie, and the other was a curly red haired woman. Seeing their childish, ineffective and abusive methods for communicating with their employees sickened me, and I don't know how long this has been happening but I hope that these managers are evaluated, and terminated. Prior to the verbal abuse upon the employee, I had asked the red haired manager about a price on a piece of pottery, as it was unmarked. She aggressively snatched it out of my hand as if it was a bother to be disrupted by a customer from chatting with the other manager. This type of management is so concerning to me, and I feel for all the employees who are dealing with this. My group of thriftshoppers and I will be taking our business elsewhere. (Read More)
